Interesting book, and good observations, although it seems a bit dated with all of the terminology.

The list of sex signals (also available online at the link below) is pretty much gold though and should be all anyone needs to understand how women jock. I've experienced most of them, with the funniest (and slightly painful) occasions being when the women would 'jostle' me for ignoring them, lots of sharp jabs to the ribs and kicks to the shins. One particular woman tried this for about 15 minutes before giving up (I didn't want to move from my place at the bar or engage her).

What's still amazing to me, is how women with completely backgrounds exhibit the same behaviours. I've noticed this in middle eastern, scandinavian, and east asian/chinese women. Only some girls (possibly what the author labels as Defective Females) skip all of that and initiate with conversation. Those are the girls I admire the most.
