I've been doing some dream work, and I feel that I'm beginning to touch on some very deep recesses of subconscious. The symbolism in recent dreams have been about the subconscious dam breaking and flooding into my conscious awareness.

Last night I was dreaming and walked past the tank the lizard I have is in. There were three looking back at me when there should have only been one (a common dreamsign). So I look at my hand and of course I have 6 fingers, and become lucid.

I threw up my hands and said "show me something in my shadow" the walls collapsed around me and I lose lucidity.
I'm laying on the floor, and someone is holding me down. I think it's my brother and I'm not mad, but laughing a little like let me up. However, I cannot budge at all.

I've been thinking about what is means, maybe it just means that I am holding myself down. But that seems too simple :geek:

Why not work with the shadow in "waking" hours ?
Perhaps start with your projections.. Or maybe look at triggers that happen, when you imagine getting what you want and see why you resist..

Dreams are the realm of the unconscious, just as in waking life the conscious mind is in control.

There's something to said for being in the moment, but the level of information that is available for me to be aware of is much higher in the dreamstate.

I'm also at the point where my mindset is at a level where if I didn't remove any more baggage I would be content. I want to pierce to the core of how my identity formed. I don't need to, I want to see what is there. :geek:

It's not only about mindset, but I think we are just using different terms for things
So you are free of lot of baggage and you are emotionally OK with doing things you want to, but you want to look into the core of your subconscious ?

Interesting thing is, that ever since I started doing inner work pretty much daily, spending most of my free time on it, I hardly ever have (or remember) dreams..

I had a dream two nights ago.

A big galaxy appeared in the night sky and it was rushing towards us.
Apparently it had been moving 0,000000000000001%
slower than the speed of light so we had minutes to live LoL everyone panicked,
I was like, well that's actually quite funny. Got to see it spiraling crazy fast.
Its history played out fast in the night sky.

It got noisy and shaky, that's when I woke up.

Light speed 299 792 458 m / s
The speed of the galaxy 299 792 457,9999 m / s

Anything is possible in a dream

//////////////////////////

When I wake up, I see moving fractals (Mandelbrot)
in my eyes for 10-15 seconds, and longer if I don't open my eyes.

I wonder if brain stores memories / learning experiences this way.
(Cramming into fractals, as much as possible, for saving space in the memory.)
I don't know.

Yeah, my introspection tends to go in phases. Sometimes I'll do a deep dive and see what comes up. After a while I come up and coast for a while and then go back to it.

I don't know.
Who knows, it might be tied in with the self in the way memories are saved I think.

Interesting. I mostly use intentional triggering.
Also looking at triggers very fast when they happen in real life situations sometimes triggers a release, when you see the reason behind them fast enough (otherwise you can miss it and nothing happens)

I don't have many of those left, they've almost all been dissolved.

The same goes for me ever since I had the one dream where I lost my ego, sense of self, perceived death. I don’t have dreams or I don’t remember them, at bed there might be a fraction of a dream that will come back to memory but nothing significant
