A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Tuesday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer" . The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Tuesday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Tuesday, its your day in the well.
I think a Well for our members would be a solid addition to the forum. :)

There are some members I would love to ask questions about their journey to being a REAL man.

There is basically a prototype section of the well for TK and Grinus in the Kiddz corner.

Some members have a come a long way, and it would be a jolly good time to be able to ask them any question about their life or their journey if they chose to sit in the well.

Just a thought. :)

What stops you asking them?

I respect personal boundaries. It's one thing to ask a person directly. It is another thing to give them a space to voice their life.

I see it as an extension of the introduction section.

Are you respecting their boundaries?

Or what you assume are their boundaries?

You miss my point entirely. If this is about me then the new topic area is pointless. I don't think it's about me. I want to learn about what a lot of the other members have done to get over their "rough" patches.

Sure, I could have answered Grinus' and went through the inner work he's suggesting that I need, but that isn't the problem that I'm facing currently.

If you look through some of my posts from early this morning you'll see where I'm focused.

However, this problem just allowed me to solve some other problems. ;)

So, are you going to hope that the specific members you want to ask will volunteer themselves in the new topic area?

Waiting until they do?

Or are you going to take the initiative and ask them the questions you would like to ask?
(and risk them saying no)

Neither. I'll leave the decision up to you.

Then nothing will happen if that's the case, this is coming from spectating and experiencing alike when you leave it up to others to decide for you.
