Evolutionarily/biologically speaking, it seems to always have been the Women who chose their mate, and the men who fought to be chosen. If that's still the case today, does being aware of this even put us in a better position? And will we ever get to a place where we are choosing outright, or are some of you actually doing this already as opposed to being a chooser amongst the chosen? Is it possible for men to become the choosers? Or am I way off base even believing that Women are the choosers?

Perhaps I'm actually way off and not really looking at the bigger picture here; It just occurred to me today, as a broad who is heavily interested finally asked the inevitable question which is 'What do I do?', and I realised that this is a question a chooser asks, and a potential chosen answers. Because it was via email I haven't replied yet, though I'm thinking of answering honestly as a test and say what it is I do - nothing. I have zero clout at the moment, even though I live very comfortably materially for now.

Indeed

Could it be that she is not after the answer to the question you see?
If so, what is it she is really asking?

Why would you not reply honestly?

Give me one good reason?

You may in your mind.

Are you sure that she sees it the same way?

Chenga!

The question about "what do you do" reflects her
financial intelligence as well.

You can have a direction if you´re currently at some
perceived zero. Set some pertinent goals and
educate yourself + take action.

We are excluding exceptions, and talking UNIVERSALLY,
which then leads to a question ;

Are you building or disintegrating The MindSet and Self-image
required to amass such a thing?

For me it's not simply a financial question, as in how much I earn etc. Itcould be more a deeper compatibility one, perhaps her question was more pointed to wondering what my ambitions are, if any. She knows little about me to be honest.

There isn't a good reason, you're right. It's an old trait of mine, even when I was employed last year I would deflect the answer, especially if a women was very curious which they inevitably would be. It was, however, always based as much on me hiding as it was on being in control of the situation, because I wasn't doing the work I wanted to at that time and felt ashamed.

She's a good one, so no I don't presume that. When it comes to clout, it's obvious that I don't have it in objective terms. Personally though, I'm at a point where I don't care about it. Not at this moment anyway.

Of course, it does reflect her financial intelligence. But it's not only a financially minded question, atleast in her case.

As for the second paragraph, all true - but I didn't start a thread for a pep talk on goal setting ;)

Those are things I'm doing right now, which is why I've taken time out from the world.

There´s a difference in chasing and stalking.
Who spends on who . . . . . . . (?)

I sell cars...you want to buy a car. You CHOOSE the car you want to purchase...which means you have to ACCEPT MY TERMS OF SALE.

So...who has the upper hand? The chooser?...or the choosie? :geek:

...and for the record, that you didn't get my simple, straightforward, common sensical answer is quite disheartening. :(

Yes, but I'm not talking about chasing. I get that by now. For me there's a difference between chasing and choosing.

Disheartening for whom

Don't be on my account - with all due respect the explanation was more beneficial to this student at this time. If that makes me slow, so be it.

I think what I find hard to get my head around is I always thought the buyer held power, because the seller is dependant on buyers coming into their yard, but this could cause quite the paradigm shift.

Ooook, I get it now. Going to apply this to a situation I'm in.

Thankyou good sirs.

The pimp is supposed to put himself in the position to be discovered by the ho or square broad. This position is mental as well as gographical.

Not only does the pimp circulate wherever women happen to be, but while making such forays he is continually conscious of his identity and image as a pimp. He reasons that he will attract the women he seeks by looking and acting like what he is, so that the women do the choosing, not him.”

From a mack’s point o view: Get ya mind right…

Go to to the places where the QUALITY women are, and one may choose you. Women are easier to deal with when they choose you, it cuts out alot of games. And when they choose they choose hard, ya dig

A pimp let’s the female choose. This way he retains the power. In the pua game the dude is choosing and chasing. She keeps the power.
Think i'm getting it now...

Not sure exactly, but I think it may be the Black Player book. I read this on a very old thread over at Natural Game.
