Fears often leads to Suffering, whence.
Fear is necessary, suffering is optional.
The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. Do you understand?

Fear is a label for a natural healthy reaction of the nervous system that will take you over when a bear starts chasing you. You don't need to get rid of that.
What we do is read about bears having chased someone once, then create pictures of that happening-- get freaked out about going into the woods and starting causes about the evil bears. Or maybe it did happen to you once (ie rejection) and you are creating a picture of it. 99% of fear is fear of illusions. It's fear of what you think is going to happen, or potentially could happen, or what happened once. The amount of this shit operating in most people is almost unfathomable.. economic, relationship, crime, debt, terrorism. All of that can be done without. If you "fear rejection" it means you are picturing something happening. My guess is that it is pretty rare that a girl will actually pull out a chainsaw or do something that, if fully present (not creating pictures in your head, or assigning meaning to the situation that is not inherently in it), would legitimately trigger your CNS
The solution of course requires bringing this into the light of consciousness so you can see what they are, and to live so presently that fear only arises in for the few minutes when the bus is about to hit you or there's a gun to your head, which may literally never happen in your life. Of course that takes work so who the fuck wants to do that when they can just play on their iphones and watch the news (which constantly feeds more hypothetical situations to fear).
