Hello, I'm Cantonese. That also means I'm cantonese... But I don't speak any chinese. I was invited here by Shay. Like most guys here, I have several sources of influence which has helped me form a model of how this guy/girl thing works.

I'm not a social guy, so I haven't gauged how 'good' I am with girls. However, ever since about a year ago I've improved from being a quiet, kind of awkward guy who deep down felt like he needed relationships with girls... To being a quiet, relaxed guy who almost doesn't care about getting girls. Although, the more desireable I find the girl, the more flighty/freezed up I tend to get. Could be just that I need a normal amount of exposure to their presence.

The cause of my improvements has been from NG in the last few days (figured out how to tear up), Code of the Natural exercises, Jake's philosophy of not giving a fuck, a non-religious perspective of some concepts from the Bible, and positive affirmative questions.

Right now, girls are kind of becoming more and more like a passing interest to me. I have developed some sort of spiritual focus. But I don't want an imagined enlightenment, which I believe all 'spiritual enlightenment' to be. My philosophy is that I'm going to lose interest in girls, I'm going to get old and die, people are going to die around me as life goes on, I may not have much money when I'm old, I may end up at any time totally disabled and stuck in bed, a meteorite could strike the earth and we'll all be in a living hell (if we survive). But every moment can be good, so that even though life appears to be getting worse due to old age/hardship, in my own mind, all is just fine. Their are bad emotions, good emotions, and then there's something else.

Welcome Cantonese,

Your avatar's photo looks like a Shaolin monk, perhaps.

LOL!

He was the father of current day 'Wing Chun', the origins are unclear but he made it widespread, taught it openly and helped it achieve the popularity is has nowadays.

see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yip_Man

There was a recent film about him, called 'Ip Man' - It is a good watch.

for film, see : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ip_Man_%28film%29

Well at first I was close, I wrote:

But Cantonese wrote: he's lp Man,
then I saw lp and I thought about it
and it sounds like long play Man.

Thanks for the clarification dudes.
