Hey guys,

I always loved hypnosis and if it's something that you love or can relate to check this out.

'Meeting Your Inner Child'- I must admit that when I heard this concept in the past I always thought it was some new age hooey- and I know a lot about new age hooey because I always read and explore new age stuff- again it's something I love and do for fun.

Anway, a friend of mine who is in the healing Bizz has reccomanded that I check this out and I said: why not....

this is a guided meditation called 'Meeting Your Inner Child', it's only $9.95 and I have been using it for three days now and I think it's awesome.

here is the products page:

http://www.alchemyinstitute.com/hypnosi ... html#child

I'm using:
Journey #2:
Meeting Your Inner Child

There are other recordings on that site but I can only reccomand what I tried and think is good. So I don't know about the other recordings yet...

@Eagle Eye

Do continue to report on this :)

Here's an exercise recomended by Dr. Dobranski:

Examine a photograph of yourself from your years of infancy. This can help you to identify some of the nature of your true identity before social conditionning was a factor.

For that matter, I think that early memories of childhood ways of thinking could be helpful too.

yes I think it's very helpful - it's like going back to the past and see how you were before social conditioning has fucked everything up.

I find this a very convoluted topic. Looking back to when I was about 3 right in that area, I see a lot of the ease of character I've lost over time.

The question is though, is it something that we should strive to regain or something we let go in order to regain or move on as part of growing?

why don't you give the meditation a try and decide for yourself?
some will say it's good some will say it's not.

trying is the best teacher....

it doesn't cost that much so you don't have much to lose...

No offense dude, I just think anyone who sells books on self-esteem etc. is full of shit, I've seen enough of it. :|

Of course, they're all about "Affirm I love myself" and are all after getting you "feeling good" cocaine can make you feel good but thats not going to give you the experience of being effective and appropriate towards life.

I wouldn't have reccomended Nathaniel Branden if there was a chance he'd disappoint.
