Hey guys, it's been awhile, I've been busy living my life and going through some intense stuff.
The stuff I went through in the past year or so makes the heartbreak of my last relationship look like nothing.
Looking back, the pain I felt was only proportional to the emotional investment I allowed myself to feel for this energy vampire, of course it would happen.
I can gladly say now that's behind me, I was even seeing someone a couple months after that, for most of last year, she was awesome. Ultimately she ended it because I didn't go all in (I was still dark from my ex) but for once it ended amicably and we're still good friends, something completely outside of my normal experience.
That one experience affected me more than I would think it did. It allowed me to heal in a big way by curbing some of my cynicism, sometimes it can be good.
