Post subject:  Processing Emotions

I made a list and of what I should face and work on and unprocessed emotions was high on the list.

These unprocessed emotions have been around for a while and they've been draining me. I was a scared little boy, and still am scared at the moment. Yet, this is what it means to face the things you run away from. For me it's facing and feeling these unprocessed emotions.

I searched for anything here on dealing with unprocessed emotions and didn't find much. So, I did some research and thought I'd share my findings and links here.

The thread here that seems most relevant to me for processing stuck emotions is peregrinus Tapping your Subconscious.

Other resources I visited:

Unprocessed Emotions

I haven't read this one yet, but glanced at it and have a feeling it may be hooey, mentions taking their retreat, but could hold some gems within the writings. Will read it when have more time.

Would like to hear others thoughts who processed their emotions and the process they used.
Let it go hasn't sunk in yet for me. It's merely a thought level for myself, and not a full body understanding.

I feel (the keyword here) you've got more than enough.

Do you really need more research or is that a distraction?

The best person to ask the question is to yourself anyway "what do I need to do to process this." "Is it safe for me to feel this? If not why?"

Processing is something you finally let happen instead of something you "do." The suppression is more doing. Thus "let it go".

I think that it's good to be continuely learning new things. There just needs to be that line between what is good knowledge and what is just a distraction from progress.

Also don't feel you need to face everything all at once..little bites ;)

Well written as usual Flow. And NO I don't need any more research.

The processing is something I experienced last night after writing this up. I sat down and put my mind aside. Wonders happened; felt a slight burden release and slept fairly well at night. :)
