Since i have been on these forums and learned about indifference i have felt like i have been more indifferent. For example, when people use to talk to me i would nod my head alot in agreement with people, however i now i stay still alot more and don't nod as much as i used to.I am making a conscious effort to do this so that it becomes habit. When i reply to people's question i also do not give them a yes or no answer rather i give them an observation.I feel alot more powerful and in control when doing this.I also noticed people with strong presences like politicians, athletes, and actors do this.I find that sometimes visualizing someone like on tv being nonreactive during interviews gives me a good visual(I am a visual learner).Do you guys think it is possible to be aware of your indifference like the way i am describing it?

Indifference is an attitude and internal state, not a set of behaviors. You can be smiling and talkative and fully indifferent, or ice cold and fully attached. Trying to be indifferent is by definition a type of attachment.

That said, noticing behaviors you do unconsciously and taking conscious control of them is legit. It's like anything else, if you have bad posture playing guitar you need to consciously adjust the habit.

Nothing wrong with tackling from both angles, your internal attitude and external behaviors, in the end they are one thing.

Your indifference will be measured by how effortlessly you are being doing and saying exactly what you want without a filter or without editing yourself either to look cool OR look indifferent, which is actually the same energy.
