The Way of Liberation (Free Book) An excellent book from Adyashanti -- "The Way of Liberation." It is short, to the point, and powerful. It is NOT about self-help or achieving goals, it is a no bullshit guide to waking up beyond the egoic self. Hours of Vedanta teaching, Q&A / Audio www.shiningworld.com Meditation Tracks mentioned on this forum / teaching vids TheDude talks of using tracks from GP Walsh: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=290 , Which are also tracks from: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2181 He has redone a lot, and you get at least one or two of these meditation tracks for free as well as some new ones for free from his email that are in video format. There is also about a 3 hour course on "LOA 2.0" which guys on this forum will probably dig, some of the main ideas: 1. There is no universe "out there" that grants you things when you do the right things or say the right affirmations, what's happening is a reflection of your internal state and relationship with yourself. 2. It is not about things falling into your lap magically, but about presenting you the circumstances for you to grow into the person for whom these things happen. IE, you don't wake up one day and are magically a great boxer because of LOA techniques - but, you will likely start coming across better training regimens, start fighting better people who will kick your ass -- it's going to take the work. Under this model for example finding this forum would be an "answer" to your request - you wanted to get better at something, you were presented information. Now you follow through.
