I have been flying since i was a young since my dad is an engineer and we travel alot of places throughout the world.Well to be honest as many times as i have flown i have never been comfortable with it and over the last few years i have been getting panic attacks and always feel terrorized when im on a plane so i said fuck it i am done.My parents moved from Cali to Atlanta and keep asking me when am i going to visit them. They get free tickets to fly and i pay 80 bucks to go anywhere in the country which i have never used. There gonna be pissed since i wont be going for thanksgiving. It has been a couple years since they moved and i have chose not to travel there because 1)I don't want any freebies from them 2)I just came to terms with the fact that i don't want to get on a plane again..Does this make me less of a man for choosing not to fly?

What does your gut tell you?

You know the answer.

There must be a traumatic reason for these panic attacks.
The answer would be, let it go

You don't have to get on a plane again obviously.

But try to observe what is causing the discomfort, from a detached perspective...maybe there is something to learn?

Yeah, but you shouldn't feel much concerned about flying a plane.. So, observe ! I got rid of my fear of heights, observing and releasing..

I can't fly, and I'm no lesser.
