This concept, "Fake it to you make it", was one that was preached heavily in the PUA world. Self-proclaimed gurus such as Tyler D, Gambler, and Jeffy preached of this mantra. "ACT confident and you'll be confident". "ACT uninterested and ACT non-needy and you will become non-needy with time". "ACT unaffected by her "shit-tests". All of it was "ACT" it and soon you shall be it. I came across this thought when I posted: Where is this going (Texting Girl) viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2614. Flow brought it to my attention that it looked like I was asking for WHAT TO SAY & how to ACT rather than see WHERE I WAS COMING FROM (fill a void type thing IMO). So my question, on this quest how do we arrive at BEING, and not ACTING like a PIMP? (Because I feel like I do a lot of "faking it till I make it") |

Hahaha, I've come to the realization that the subconsious will always cheat you in the critical moments when trying to "Fake it" [insert attractive male adjective] This is utterly stupid and delusional. Yet some guys have this (tiny spark of hope) that the contrary will work.  Inner work is the key, and theres no other road I've know that has everlasting changes. Oh and you have to act "normal" first before putting this "pimp" or whatever shit you think it is necesary to attract fine bitches. Or better yet; you'll be pimp when you confront your demons and make them your friends, bask in the inner work dilligently, and slowly fall in love with you and accept you as you are. |

There's a difference between faking it till you make it and believing in yourself. All your beliefs about yourself that are negative are not real, they are lies. So start believing in yourself and believe that you are becoming a more confident person every single day and you love everything about yourself. Instead of letting the world push you around to whatever path comes your way. Make your own path and blaze down that fucker. |
