How would you define: Soul & Spirit. My current thoughts & beliefs: *The Soul is the source. It is behind consciousness. It is what sees consciousness. It is who we are behind our names, ethnicities, and thoughts. *The Spirit is the workings of mind and emotion/body together. It is your life flow. |

Soul and Spirit. Memes created by man to control. My current thoughts & beliefs: *The Soul is the source. It is behind consciousness. It is what sees consciousness. It is who we are behind our names, ethnicities, and thoughts. *The Spirit is the workings of mind and emotion/body together. It is your life flow. Who we are is bigger than life and so cannot be adequately described by us. |

Interesting point of view. Morpheus so do you not believe in the Soul & Spirit? Are you a believer of: we are what we are and that is the nameless. |

I agree that any attempt to explain/give expression of life is not life, but otherwise ... How can you separate yourself from life ... ?Is there any thing other than Life/Truth/Enlightenment/Freedom except the 6 billions different ideas we all have about it ?
"There is no self, there is no I, there is no spirit, there is no soul, and there is no mind. That knocks off the whole list, and you have no way of finding out what you are left with. You may very well ask me the question, 'Why do you go on telling people about the way you are functioning?' It is only to emphasize that we have been for centuries using some instrument, that is, thinking or mind, or whatever you want to call it, to free ourselves from the whole of what you call the 'I' or the 'self', and all kinds of things. That is what the whole quest of spirit is all about. But once it dawns on you that there is nothing to be free from, then these questions don't arise at all. How that dawned on me, I have no way of finding out for myself."

What do you call the nameless ? The idea of something which has no name, or the end of the attempt to give something a name (whether it has one or not) ?

I would say its the end of attempting to name it.I'm glad I asked this questions, because I never quiet understood spirit & soul and it needed to be questioned for further analyses. My early explanation of spirit & soul felt shaky & weak. I read an article on UG Krish a while back that stated he was too cynical about life's truth (too hardcore and didn't sugar coat enough?). |

I believe there is something more. But its based on personal experience, from a couple near death experiences I had when I was a kid. Morpheus so do you not believe in the Soul & Spirit? Are you a believer of: we are what we are and that is the nameless. Not a religion or organization telling me who or what to believe. |

I've heard a lot of people talk about near death experiences and the things they experienced, but often times they're just the result of DMT rushing into the brain. |

N,N-dimethyltryptamine It's a pshychoactive drug released naturally in the mamalian brain and it's argued that plays an important role on though processing, dreaming and near death experiences. |

No one knows enough to make a definite decision. Science and what know or think we know is constantly evolving. Did you know that using brainwave scanners, it has been proven that twins share a connection independent of where they are |

No one knows enough to make a definite decision. Science and what know or think we know is constantly evolving. Did you know that using brainwave scanners, it has been proven that twins share a connection independent of where they are But when you think about it, DMT completely eliminates your perception of time, where it makes 15 minutes seem like years. The hallucinations are so powerful, that everybody has trouble describing exactly what they've seen, but it's almost always some sort of god or supernatural being. So if somebody is close to death, for even a couple of seconds, DMT will rush into their brain and they'll have what seems like a really long psychedelic trip with some sort of god. I think everything can be explained by science, but we're way too primitive to understand it. 98% of the universe's gravity is unaccounted for, and astrophysicists have no idea where it comes from. A lot of the smart ones even think that it spills out from another dimension. |
