Post subject:  "Infield Footage" Hooey
I was meditating today when I realized a certain thing...

With PUA the reason I was so EAGER to learn their philosophy was I watched their "infield footage" and of course as a young adult with a HIGH SEX DRIVE I would want to mimic those adventures I viewed...the thought was "w/ PUA this is possible".

Like Sniper and his past problems letting go of PUA, because of the PUA success of having tons of pictures with attractive girls I feel like I'm having trouble letting go of PUA completely, because of the videos I've watched of "infield footage". Here's one for example:

When I see success like such there is a strong pull for those kinds of results.

Can other's please shine light on such videos and so to say "enlighten" me about these videos, because my mind still attaches to videos like this and keeps PUA jargon alive :x

Did this post make sense...it's a bit hard to transfer the thoughts to words :?

Not that this is any clearer but something I did was just staying away completely from that shit, since you meditate you'll probably feel all of this pua stuff come up.

Watching these videos in order to get a different perspective on them might work against you, especially in the beginning, don't quote me on that though lol.

Correct. I was meditating and the PUA stuff and "infield footage" came up.

I've stopped watching their videos ever since joining this forum, but still the PUA mumbo jumbo lives on within me...the videos play over in my head on occasion...

@ TheDude: I would suggest doing some "introspection time" as Kidd would say. Take some minutes off, make yourself comfortable and get into yourself, the answers are there. There is a reason why you are so affected by PUA and those videos. Ask yourself:

What is it about these videos that affects me so much?

What do I get out of being affected by these videos? Because there's a reason behind every "belief" we have (and a belief is just a thought) why we hang on that belief. There's a reason why we think we should hang on that belief.

If you get in the flow of exploring your beliefs/thoughts, you can go deeper and deeper. The answer to the first question might be "because the guys there get women", then ask yourself "why does that affect me?", "I want women too", "Why do I want women?".... and so on.

Going down to the roots of your problems is the key.

Well, as it was said to me:

I'm not sure they get women or how many women they get. Those videos don't represent reality just like seeing some PUA's with pictures of women near them does not mean that they really get\got all those women.

It's a marketing pitch to get guys to buy stuff.

some of these videos are also fabricated. If I was a PUA and wanted to make videos I can always make fake videos by asking girls to participate before I turn on the camera - and then make it look like I see them for the first time and made them laugh or give me their phone number.

Thats true, Sniper.

In my opinion, the problem lies a bit deeper. Its not about that PUAs (apparently) get women that makes the problem for him but that he thinks having a lot of women is something he needs to have.

If you let go of that need to have women, then it doesn't bother you anymore if a PUA or any other man gets a lot of women.

For that purpose, they just can join a gym and work in their image and plus raise testosterone levels, so they would feel more happy about themselves.

And for the l00t, there are things that are million times more Industrious and Ethic than scamming confused dudes into believing they're making them the best seducers in the world. But I guess it is what it is.
