copy it before you submit.. then if it does that, paste it into a new one... Use the buffer as your safeguard.Another option is to have the forum open in another tab, and refresh that before you post. Or possibly learn to type faster [Addendum -Session timeout is 2 hrs, so not going to increase that any further] |

I will try that modified suggestion though that could work for the better. 2 hours talk about losing track of time I may have to find a tutor or something of the like to start typing faster. |

Just put it in a word doc and copy it over when you're done |

Yup, I was surprised.. I looked at it, expecting it to be 10-20 mins or so.. then to see 2 hours.. I have been caught myself by the same thing before, hence my two suggestions as those are the ones I find work best for me.. It is way beyond annoying to lose a lengthy (not just words but time) post, oftentimes it is very hard to recompose it the same way the second time. |

Which is why I was pissed and brought this up because, I was using a different browser and when I try to back track to get my post it wouldn’t let me! But oh well I’ll just make adjustments when necessary. Indeed, the good part is, once you make the adjustments you are covered on any other similar sites/forums, not just this one

User Control Panel > (Options sidebar) Manage drafts There is a 'save draft' button bytheby, appears below when posting/replying first time. Save draft / preview / submit / cancel |

Save draft / preview / submit / cancel Tried that a few times actually and it was deleted whenever I logged back in. Glad you brought this up I actually wanted to mention this as well I totally forgot about it. |
