I know this is looking at the finger and not the moon.
Yes, the rich and famous are not always rich and famous. Moreover, people fake their lives to present an image, a false reality.
Big Picture^^^^
However, I recall a girl who dressed in the yoga pants that some wealthy American women who've never done yoga before. She said to me that, "You get caught up." At the time, when I was still OVER DUPER STAUNCH I just laughed at it.
She's a published writer of children's novels; published one or more adult books now; getting her Phd in English; and she has a BAD habit of shopping. Yet she used to tell me she was broke all the time, but had money to buy us condoms and she bought me shoes. However, she didn't have to the money to just put in my pocket to keep her from getting "caught up." That's definitely New York slang.
I remember that she pulled out a wad of bills in my college dorm from her titty cleavage, and I told her, "Don't pull out that kind of cash around me again unless you're going to pay me."
Small Picture^^^^^
Dumbest thing I ever said to a woman that's "CAUGHT UP."
What not to do^^^^^
