Does the movie: 'fight club' has any connection to him?
I wonder how him and Rion talk about the same 'social conditioning' (I wonder if they copied from each other or they both found it by 'accident'.....)

Irrelevant really... It does not matter Shay, it is of no importance and will not give you any insights.

Social conditioning is something a LOT of people have talked about, for centuries.. Neither of them are the first or the last.

Some thoughts...

The key with anything is take what is useful, discard the rest.

Also, dont confuse the messenger with the message. This guy Tyler Durden (real name Owen Cook) has some awesome insights and thoughts on male female attraction. Discard the other bullshit they may come into play with him. But 'don't throw out the baby with bathwater'... we would say here in australia.

Dude, stay the fuck AWAY from tyler durden's shit.

A good friend of mine in my area always talking to me about 'state' like you have to be in some special kind of state with women, all he ever talks to me about is pickup.

Forget about these fools.

i think when RSD talk about state, they are referring to the state of being in the moment, unselfconscious, complete (not seeking approval), indifferent, unapologetic, etc etc. Being a man basically. Alot of the same thing that is talked about here.

As alot of us realize though, its not a state we have to reach out to get into but its a present moment realization of what we already are. But we all know that, at least in our heads, anyway.

Each to their own.

The reason I dislike RSD is because they teach their students to be hyper agressive and as a result
they get kicked out of alot of places for being complete douche bags.

For people that think Tyler is a creep, he got a lot of negativity from The Game. What a lot of people don't know is that a lot of money was exchanged between Mystery and Style. It was all political, I'd have to look into in him more but I think hes got some real value.

For example Marcus at the very least thinks like him bc in his post on not wanting anything, he said I don't think you really want women what you want is happiness and you think that women will bring you that. He also talks about being happy within yourself letting go of the outcome etc. My opinion is that Style and Mystery didn't like that bc it doesn't sell so they teamed up on him and made more money.

Just my thoughts

All I know is that his blog has more than a few creepy posts about how to get sex from a woman.

I never liked RSD stuff either, but he's right on about the self-esteem/consumerism thing. It's all about belief, what you belief about yourself Dorky.

I don't think he explains it all like Rion - he doesn't sound like a big oaf. LOL.

Creepy or not he says some great shit about money here:

Part 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_zG3GUV ... re=related

Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ0Uz6xv ... re=related

I was just thinking this yesterday seeing a hot girl with the nasty look on her face walking down the street in Soho with her rich boyfriend. I thought "man it sucks to be him, he got duped." She "gives" him sex as a reward for paying for shit - so obvious. Classic John/Whore.

Problem is these explanations won't do much other than understand it. Changing beliefs will. Change work has to be done.

I'm a big Tyler fan. However, he is only a bridge to get to the other side. He actually says this himself oddly enough.

Sooner or later, you'll have to move on.

Note: I would describe him as a crucial bridge.

I had read this in Bruce Lees Aphorisms Teachers are not all knowing beings they are merely guidances for the student to seek their own answer that is not his quote but it goes something like that
