Couple of issues here:

- Clitoral mutilation is JUST AS BAD as penile mutilation...either way the act of sex can no longer be enjoyable.

- The circumstances are different. The chick who cut off dude's pee pee allegedly has motive (whether we agree or not with the motive is irrelevant)...the reason why those women in Africa are mutilated is pure bullshit on a grand scale.

Women laugh at penile mutilation because of the circumstances involved...the woman usually catches the man cheating so she cuts off his dick...I'm smirking after just typing that. Now, you tell me that a man caught his woman cheating, waited till she fell asleep, then cut off her clit and fed it to the dog, I'd laugh at that too.

But the reason why it is done in Africa is because it is an attempt to reduce female libido...which in itself is sad. These men are mutilating women not because of something they did, but because of being insecure of something they might do...totally different scenario.

I have to step in here...

The majority of female genital mutilation around the world is performed by women on women.
Some is male on female however the majority is female on female. In some regions it is performed by the mother on her daughter.

The reasons behind it may come from several different origins, depending on culture.

Kidd, I can second this. I took a University course on this where female cutting ('Female Genital Mutilation' is a biased Western term for the phenomenon) was one of the main topics. Western societies would have one believe that women are being hogtied, drug into tents, and forcefully having their junk cut off. The truth is, women usually have the procedure done willfully, and by another woman as 'Grinus said. That being said, many women are pressured unfairly by their communities to have the procedure done, and they usually cave. There are also different degrees of cutting, some as minor (relatively speaking, of course) as having part or all the clitoris removed to having all of the external parts removed. And for any feminazis that may be lurking forum (apparently there was at least one), don't try to bullshit us and say that western societies don't do this and that it's strictly apart of the female oppression (supposedly) taking place in the Middle East. Anthropologists and other scholars also regard clit piercings and similar alterations of the genitals to be a form of "Female Genital Mutilation".

I do not believe any person should feel obliged to change any part of their bodies because of societal pressure. Fuck that. But if you want to screw with your own junk on your own volition, then I guess that's fine. But I can't really advocate splitting the head of your dick like that one guy did.
