This was very eye opening...yet..ONCE AGAIN...you have a case of a man marrying the WRONG woman for the WRONG REASONS. :geek:

50% of marriages end in divorce...this is fact. However, this also means that 50% percent of marriages are SUCCESSFUL...so let us rephrase and re-frame...it can be said, then, that 50% of marriages are SUCCESSFUL...and THAT is an awful lot. :ugeek:

Sickening, completely fucking sickening. True, the man should've seen this coming and, like Kidd said, probably married her for the wrong reasons, but damn. Being blinded by the Matrix ends up as you being a complete slave to a woman. I don't think I would've been able to stay as calm as he was if this happened to me.

Oh it's awful...but if you're bent on marrying a cheerleader rather than a teammate...you get what you get. :geek:

I'm sure he ignored some pretty obvious warning signs...or was just plain oblivious to them. Proper observation and analyzation is key in deciding on a mate. :ugeek:

I hear you :)

As with most things prevention is the best cure 8-) , if I was to even let someone live with me I'd make them sign a prenup. This is where staunchness has a place.

Oh yes staunchness has it's place...and I agree that a prenup is a great way to exercise it...but you're so damn staunch that at this rate you'll never get close enough to anyone to be able to spring a prenup on 'em. :ugeek:

Who cares? No one should be paying to finance someone elses lifestyle and definitely not 100%+ of their aftertax income.

Perhaps the fact that no one has been able to get close to me is a blessing in disguise...so many of my co-workers are outrageously far in debt and paying their ex wives...not this guy 8-)

Lol yeah I agree, I was just saying. The woman has to be a complete bitch for her to go that far with the divorce, had to of been an ugly marriage.

I doubt it...my gut tells me no. :geek:

Not that my gut counts as a dependable source or anything...but I can almost guarantee that he started the relationship wrong from the get go...she has been wearing the pants for a loooooong time. 8-)

he seems like a good guy to me as well. But even if he was a drunk biker who treated his wife bad:
