Post subject:  Automatic response to stimulus
We may have discussed it before but I just want some clarification on this.

You know this feeling when you see a woman from afar and then some kind of 'perimeter breach' happens, despite logically knowing that she's just another chick I still have this weird feeling, like I'm sucked in their energy or something, and example being I'm on my way somewhere and suddenly I notice this chick out the corner of my eye and then suddenly I feel unstable and my flow is interrupted, I'm still going where I'm going but it feels more like I'm walking in their way.

It's hard to explain but the most accurate explanation I have for now is it feels like I'm subconsciously giving in to their 'power' and the more I resist it the stronger it gets.

This doesn't happen with every woman I see and it's happening less often than before but sometimes I still get it, it's never with a specific type of woman either, they've all been different, if one were to dissect and analyse this feeling or sensation (if you can or have identified with it in the past) what is that shit?.

you see that's the problem right there...when you try to resist something inside you have already lost. It's like when I tried to resist porn I fell back to it big time.

When I stopped fighting it\resisting it - it has lost it's power over me...

Gut attraction?... Don't know I felt the same with one chick, but I've made so much expectations (I imagined both together, chumpo style!) that I think this triggers all this images I have imagined off me and her, and then this energy I create I feel like a void in the stomach, even when the girl is not that attractive.

I think it's nervousness due to subconscious expectatives (general expectatives of girls). Or maybe you are thinking I have to approach her or something like that, and you put so much pressure on yourself, that you feel your energy drained.

I want to know what this is too. :D

Yeah this is the best advice right here. And I'm not talking about all mystical woo woo shit, like the sedona method. I know you feel like you have been burned by a lot of "accepting and allowing emotions" stuff, so I'm gonna give you the real scoop.

I did this for a while too. Worrying about giving my power away. You know what it is? Its OCD man. It's these ridiculous thoughts that get planted in your head and make you believe that something is more catastrophic than it is. The next time you feel it just stop resisting it and go with it. Even if you think you are "giving your power away", just say fuck it and let it all happen.

Just think for a second, why does it matter if you give your power away? It's your mind playing tricks on you. Let it happen and realize that its just a ridiculous thing to worry about. You have to accept the worst possible thing could happen, allow yourself to feel attracted to the girl or pulled in by the energy, stop giving a fuck because as long as you worry about it it's only gonna get worse and it WILL control you.

The next time it happens notice your body. Are you tense? Does it feel like you are holding something back? You have to relax and just let it all be. These thoughts you are having are very irrational and the only way to deal with them is to accept them. They can't be solved with logic, trust me. Right now you are trying to relieve the stress you feel by trying to understand logically an irrational problem. It won't happen, you will just drive yourself into more insanity.

The hardest part with OCD like thoughts is that it feels like a real problem, when in reality it's just your mind playing tricks on you. I know how you are feeling because I used to think women could sense my anxiousness or I was giving my power away, it was very paranoid thinking. I thought if I felt attraction I would just be a loser or if I wasn't 100 percent confident horrible things would happen. Horrible things might happen, but a large percentage of the time they don't and you have to expose yourself so your perception is corrected.

Phew, thats a lot I wrote. But my main point is that your mind is making you think this is a big deal when in reality its not. It may feel like it it, but that is just an illusion.

There's been a couple women who have expressed interest a few times recently but I suspect that's only because they know I'm in a relationship, cuz before that they gave me no signs whatsoever.

Alchemist, wait until that feeling only happens for 1 out of every 100 women that you see.

For me, when that shit happens its fucking intense, but everything else is just like going through the motions.

I crave that feeling because I know that I'll be excited for every part of meeting her even if it doesn't work out.
