I had a very intresting experience last night. I was at a club at a friend's birthday party....
I remembered what peregrinus said about space and that video by hypnotica about space. So I saw this nice girl at the party and I saw signs of intrest thanks to Kidd's observation skills.
Now up till now I hated talking to women in night clubs because the music is loud and there are a lot of bimbos over there. However this time I decided to try something new...
first off I didn't let the negative shit affect me- I just stayed in my body (feeling my inner body as we read in 'the power of now'). That helped me to stay centered in myself and not let the environment affect me.
Then when I spoted this girl (she was a friend of my friend but I never saw her before)
and I saw some signs of intrest I went to sit next to her and started talking to her.
Now what do I mean about 'space', well:
I started talking to her without thinking so much what I should say. I talked to her slowly and in a calm way. When she was talking I just listened and tried to be in the moment - listening to what she was saying- not worrying about what to say next. Just let her be in the 'space' with me.
At the end of the evening I got her phone number and she called me today saying she had a great time last night and that I'm a special person. I'll probably go out with her Monday or something. But this girl doesn't matter that much- what was intresting was the experience
about space and not letting the club's negative vibe affect me.
The whole space thing is hard to explain with words but I did my best, I hope that was clear enough.
I shall have to explore this thing further but now I know what to do...
