About a 2 years ago i had so much momentum in my life with my clout and career. On top of that i made a decision to work on my Confidence, self esteem and indifference. Like it was a job for about 6 months.(Kiddz korner, confirmations, 6 pillars of self-esteem and john kehoes mind power etc.) I felt real good like happy to start my day and ready for the challenges of life. And got a lot of confirmations from others. However i started to get scared. I felt more lonely then i ever had in my life. I felt distant from my parents and siblings. (They seemed a little jealous). Distant from the world kinda like a sociopath or pyschopath. I ran and went back into my bubble of low-self esteem and unproductive habits. Anybody ever feel this way or have any advice for me?

Only when you are unhappy do you >>>think>>> about happiness.

and nothing happens.

Instead work at understanding yourself.
That's what works

If I had to take a stab at it, not knowing anything about you but knowing a lot about my own journey:

You wanted to be more confident because you felt threatened by others around you. You vs. them mentality and all that, and seeing the world through those lens. And in the early stages it worked, but if you keep working on being seperate from others in the sense of defining yourself by your relative worth, you end up alienated completely.

You can only get to know and work with the statements that start like the 1st one. The 2nd one is distraction, procrastination and mental masturbation instead of actual work.

You push thru it...when that happens that means you're doing it right. :geek:

This path isn't for everyone...but did those it's for, it will feel right. 8-)

Fear of the unknown is expected...so do you embrace the fear and push forward or return to the unremarkable familiarity that you came from...oh wait...you already answered that. :|

Look into the loneliness. And the fear. You have to be alone.. It is not any other way, in the end..

The real question is: why do you feel that way?

is there a good reason?
