Hey guys when your mind is stuck on ONE women who isn't reciprocating often the suggested advice from most people in society is go talk to other women so you are not stuck on that one.Here is what I am curious about.Isnt it better to work on being ok without women period instead of talking to other women so you are not preoccupied with that ONE?

If you tell yourself I'm ok with that ONE not being interested in me because there are other women who are interested really aren't you just using those "other women" as a crutch?

I want to fill that void that makes me think i need woman.Yes the key is to accept the pain and hurt instead of fighting it.In the meantime instead of using women in general as a blanket for not having a particular woman around i am better off dissolving myself in hobbies correct?

For the next 90 days i am not going to ask any women for phone numbers or
dates.Neither will i ignore them but this time i am going out only because there is something that i enjoy doing.

The key is to realize that the pain and hurt (in your words, but more likely frustration) is an illusion.

Reality is not designed for you to suffer from what you don't have because it gives you so many more things.

There is no void. As soon as you align your beliefs with reality, you will see that it offers you so much more of the tangible things you can want that it is difficult to handle and prioritize them all.

When you work off being in line with your priorities and needs then your desires will fall into the specific place they are meant to.

You know... I'm starting to be convinced this may not be the path for you...and there's nothing wrong with that.

No it is.Just at a low point right now.

Almost everyone on the forum has made progress. People make it in different strides. Almost everyone starts making significant progress when they move forward by coming to forum and then move back into their old thinking. Then, they struggle with the concepts. Some people catch on faster. Meraki, Roark, and Stephen P are good example of people who caught on faster.

As a matter of fact, I was a member before Meraki and Roark and they made much more significant mental progress than me in a shorter time. It also happens that they are both older than me.

Caliboy is around my age. Altair is around my age. Altair struggled for about 1.5 years then things started clicking. I struggled for about 2 years and then things started clicking.

The real progress comes when he gets tired of women like I did around mid 2013. I have to admit that I've made some backwards progress going to in 2014 followed by some strong steps forward.

Learning is most likely not a linear process although many places teach that way.

Really sit down and think about this. Why force yourself something when deep down you don't want it?
