Post subject:  A few random tidbits
I was out grabbing drinks with this girl over the weekend, and during the course of the conversation she mentioned that I seemed like someone who'd recently found themselves. When I thought about it, I realized she was right in quite a few ways, and I thought it was an interesting observation.

The funny one: Today at work a coworker was talking about not hooking up with his ex, and how despite "being topless in my bed but not wanting to have sex" he was totally in charge of the situation. I had a bit of difficulty not laughing out loud at that statement.

And then.... another guy in the office said something along the lines of "if she's going to treat you like that, I'd make her buy you shit by way of apology" although not in those exact words. I was a like :shock:

That's all really, I just thought I'd leave that here. The exchange in the office stuck in my mind for some reason.

I was amused by some hardcore sympin', and surprised to hear someone else throw out a very pimp-tight response to it.

@GB.... It would be a logical phallacy to assume that just because these boots are made for walkin', deez nutz have a similar purpose.

Just because you can't assume it does have a similar purpose (and I'm NOT talkin' of walking with them ... ;), or being walked over ..., another sick/inside jock of mine I decided to share ...), DOESN'T mean it does not have one.

I also have certain interactions that stay with me, that I end up thinking through again and again. Sometimes they have a lesson to be found, or (in this case) they are surprising or unusual. I am also an office worker type and it seems most of us are not pimp-tight at all...

It makes sense though, right? Get a steady 9-5 job that pays well, etc... it's all part of the matrix.

It doesn't have to be, and not everyone working an office job is a symp, most definitely.

But it's an environment in which you'll find a large number of people playing that game.
