So a former co-worker I used to work with posted up a video from a year or 2 ago from another co worker who laughs like a ridiculous hyena and I happened to be in the video saying something (couldn't exactly hear it because he was laughing so loud).

A few people we mutually knew liked this video and left dumb comments (this female by the way is not on friends list my name happened to be mentioned and Facebook notified about it). So just for laughs I decided hop into it because I noticed she spelled my name wrong in the title of this video, and to add insult to injury she even put my nicknames which were given to me by a silly bitch and an email from work by another co worker (long story not really worth telling).

Lets call this silly female Eliza this is how the comments section went:

Me: Eliza you spelled my name wrong, homeboy your face is whats funny LLS

Eliza: I should to stick with calling you (insert lame nickname here)

Me: I like my given name just fine jerk

Eliza:The email gave you that name. Don't be salty.

Me:I can be salty, powdery, spicy. Did you forget I do what I want.

(Now this is where I was kind of taken back not only did she liked this comment she goes on to say...)

Eliza:That's what I like to hear (once again insert lame nickname here)

My gut told me to fade up out of that (creating space) well that and I had nothing else to add, should I have liked that comment or did I do the right thing by leaving it like that. I had debated about putting this on here but I thought I could learn something from this thoughts and opinions will be appreciated especially from the sages of this forum Kidd!!, Peregrinus.

That is true usually not my style. I only seen it because my notifications told me my name was mentioned in this video. Probably shouldn't have done it but wanted to see what would happen if I just gotten on her radar.

This was actually the reason why I attempted the reach out

Alright so don't stress about the nicknames anymore got it, thought it be a good excuse but I can see her throwing that back in my face if i continue to feed into it. Could there have been a better approach in your perspective? Probably if I just liked the video that would have been more than enough huh?

You could just remove the tag and change your privacy settings so that you can't be tagged without your permission. If she was interested in you and wanted to initiate contact, she would easily find a way to do so (private message, friend request etc.). She just wanted to have fun, play with you, hit a nerve and you were a great facilitator in fulfilling her desire. Do not feed attention whores, be unpredictable, indifferent, unemotional.
You let her control you by letting your insecurity, ego get the best of you. Less is more. Let your actions speak for you.

Like this weekend went camping and this one girl was kinda snipping at me a little bit. But I did nothing, didn't allow it to effect me. And then she took my chair. I didn't say anything just picked the one next to it. When she got up I took my chair back (knowing she would have to come to me)

She was like did you just steal my chair?

Me: Is it stealing to take back the chair that's rightfully mine after you stole it? Lol

She was super nice to me for the rest of the time. Even offered to be a permenent beer holder lol.
If you wait shell get curious and overextend, which is when you flip the tables.

It's like hot potato, you never wanna be holding onto the blame lol

Btw the way is there a different linguistical way I can go with the part where she was like

"your so difficult"
and I just said "your so difficult"

Like that was fine, but I think there is a better way to flip it.

Edit: This actually lead to some new realizations. With a couple of other situations I recently posted where grinus said she was wrapped up in her head not paying attention.

My value can shift quite dramatically within a short order. It really is key to be giving them rope so they can checkmate themselves. Their initial impression has some play because you can change it later.

I think this shifting some of my energy into myself, over external goals is really going take my Kung Fu next level
