At the beginning of the year I decided to focus more on myself. School, health and fitness, and my appearance became more serious priorities. I experienced many ups and downs as I drifted away from others and into myself. There were times when I felt great yet wondered why people were ignoring me. They would glance or even stare but wouldn't take any kind of action. I started to feel like a cardboard cutout. I felt like I could do anything accept be close to others. I then had a realization of sorts. Perhaps, somehow, people feel threatened or insecure around me. If that were true, then they would need some encouragement, like a shy child. I started giving positive feedback to more people more often. The effect of my approval for them was amazing to see. By believing in them, they joined my team so to speak. I finished up school for the semester, made the Dean's List, and got into better shape. So right now I'm feeling pretty good. I was able to accomplish some things despite the inner struggles. I thank all of you for your contributions around here. Peace. |

This is excellent.
