Used to use this concept a lot in swimming. It worked wonders for me. Can also be adapted to lots of other things besides sprinting, as its the process thats important. Intense work, recover, intense work, recover... cycle |

Intense work, recover, intense work, recover... cycle These legs can take 4, 5 sprints, after that, spaghetti. Once a week and after the sprints, one set of a muscle group that is lagging behind. (now, it's the calves, aka, the second 'heart' of human circulatory system, as fit calves can help take off some of the pressure from that 1st heart) |
