Comparing this to my childhood.... Alpha male: Plays king of the hill: "None of you punks better try and hang out up here, I'll push you back down. Only room for one." Omega male: Convinces the girls to push the merry-go-round one way, and rallies the boys to push the other way. Us:"boys' way!" Them:"girls' way!" Us:"Boys' way!" We all had fun, but guess which team got their way? If I remember correctly, boys' way was counter-clockwise. |

It came from the animal kingdom, doesn't work so good for humans as we are the only species that can conciously modify our behavior.

In my experience women gave me their attention even when I wasn't the leader or alpha male of the group, I guess its because I don't talk much and that puts them on the defensive having to fill space and all that jazz. |
