there is a seduction teacher called Davide Deangelo who came up with something called:

And if something didn't work out.
It was because you were either: too cocky (like in the photo) and not enough funny. Or you were just funny but not cocky enough.

Which lead many people down a road of overanalyzing what they said. And if what they said, was the perfect balance of cocky and funny

My experience from doing it myself and seeing others doing it as a techinque. Might get you laughs and entertain people, but has little effect on whether it leads to sex.
