I came across this book by listening to an interview from the coach of the Warriors basketball coach, Steve Kerr. He recommended this book and said it helped him through his career so that interested me.

One of the take-aways from the book was the idea of doing the work and getting out of the way. And the book offers tips on ways to do the work and not over do it; trust the process.

It's an open-minded book and I might read it again one more time. Parts definitely resonated.

The thought I remember thinking when reading it is something I heard a while ago: the mind is a great tool, but a terrible thing to live from.

Ah very much ACT aligned.

In any case, eternal human problem, remembering that it's just a tool.
