I came across this author from peregrinus. He's most known for his Lateral Thinking book and I picked up this book because I resonated with the title; simple living.
There's a lot of take-aways from the book. One that comes to mind right now is that there should be a reason why I'm simplify something. Meaning the end result should lead to a better thing and not just simplify because I can.
Another one is to see the bigger picture. Maybe what I'm simplifying is going to make things better for me, but not better for the customer for example. It's important to see the whole thing and make decisions based on the priorities.
This is a book I'm going to read again a few times.
