This film is a portrayal of the horrific beatings that occurred at Dozier School for Boys at Marianna, Florida, from the 1920's to the 2000's. Boys, some as young as nine, were beaten so badly at the Dozier School that their underwear had to be surgically removed by the school's aging physician.
