Oh shit, that's a mindfuck. Everything switched. I have a good guess what season 2 gonna be about. Lot of life lessons here. Was there anything super important you wanted us to catch Kidd? Edit: You might like Zankyou no terror as well. It's less heavy on the violence and life lessons, but it's had various comparisons to death note. I find it very entertaining. |

Great anime, so much paralellisms with our contemporary reallity, a heavy load of orwellian shit, anarchy, great deal of human reading emotional (well, anime emotional reading), and Saiga sensei and Makishima are the top characters of the show in my opinion, but this are the guys that have figured out already because of great deal of pain and experiences, call it: observation. The more real ones are Ko and Akane, also all the agents have an akin sense of smelling criminals, without the aid of the dominators. I took some notes, about the books and philosophy references too. Michael Focault, Descartes, are some the guys mentioned, also Phillip K. Dick and one of his most famous that I knew the title, inspired the movie blade runner. Great replay value. And I mean Great! I hated the intro song of the first 12 episodes. I liked the intro after the 12, liked the two outros of the complete series. I give a 8.4/10 A very shallow veredict, I know but mine. |

Wow, this is one of the best ones I have come across in a long time. Starting watching a few episodes, definitely hooked now.
You cannot test people by pushing them. If you want to test someone give them power

Psycho-pass was incredible. I also watched Kaiji. No one makes the first leap. It's like a mini matrix except Kaiji gets hurt in the end because he was too consumed with winning and didn't have contingency plans. He assumed too much about his opponent when he hadn't in the past. @The Kidd!! when you suggest an anime like these will you suggest which mindset you think best reflects what's on here. In both Kaiji and Psycho-Pass, I found that the mindsets of the villains and protagonists were mixed. Are we supposed to pick elements from both because some of what's said seems like dark side stuff that could be detrimental to absorb. |

You get whatever YOU get out of it. I recommend certain anime because they are thought provoking and play nicely with the overall themes of the forum. So pay attention to whatever resonates with YOU, then delve deeper into yourself to figure out why that is.

Got it!! What else is there to watch? I cannot sit down to catch up to the Golgo series yet because I don't have enough time and like to watch blocks of anime. I know I told you that already though. I know Case Closed isn't as intense as some of the stuff you've recommended. |

Phi-Brain was decent. It got put on the backburner for this though. The Strain is good as well, not a psychological message. It's a new spin on zombies though, it's sick |

I would have never watched anime if it weren't for this forum... but between this series and Death Note, I've been blown away. Great find! |

Great plot with many interesting characters. I enjoyed the episode where Akane went in the memory simulator to help aid a case; reminded me of doing push-ups. And I used to think anime was lame. |

I was also reacious to watch anime, because of major prejudices I had about: "adult people that wach anime" But I was so wrong (Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu / Legend of the Galactic Heroes) I'm not sure if there is an English subbed/dubbed version out there, but it is supposed to be a large scale strategy anime, I'm watching it w/o subtitles now, Japanese language. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_ ... tic_Heroes |
