Aight playaz, lemme start this review by saying I've never read a book so fast in my life. The author says these books are fiction, but the startlingly accurate portrayal of street life makes it hard to believe. The thing that differentiates these books from others in my opinion, is how raw they are. You start out learning about a young kid growing up learning from mistake like any of us. Soon though, a couple twists & turns later you witness the downward spiral of a once innocent youth. Outwardly the main character in the book, always maintains his cool and keeps the game air tight. Inwardly, his world's slowly crumbling down piece by piece due to his numerous addictions. I'm not trying to give the whole plot away, but I read both books in 1 day... they were that interesting.
