Trying to move past hate and anger
Don't move past them. Embrace them.
Don't run away from them. Run
towards them.
They are part of you. Accept they as they are. They are not a problem - the problem is when you push them away, deny them, get wrapped up in them, allow them to take you and cart you away to dark places.
Anger and hate will arise, then they will subside. Later, they will arise again, and subside again. There's nothing wrong here. You do not try to stop the waves in the ocean from crashing on the beach.
