It's very offtopic but I got inspired by this so I decided to share.
If not made of concerete, it would really be like modern art...
I don't like comunism at all. But their monuments like these just breathe to me and sing to me in a way.
I'd so like to live in something built like that ! And preferably in country where it rains 3/4 of the time !
Enjoy, post your favorite.

IT'S NOT. (actually it wasn't.)
It was Ex-Soviet Union country, as Czech Rep is also.. But they are somehow independent for quite a few years.
It broke down to few countries - Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, Vojvodina, Macedonia... Kosovo-Serbia border is very interesting (and dangerous).
Kosovo is self-proclaimed state.

There's a story about yugoslavian dictator Tito. When he started to become so independent that Stalin thought it was to much, soviets began sending assassins to kill Tito. After few of them got killed or caught, he wrote a letter to Stalin saying:
If you keep sending people to kill me, I will send my assassin and I will do it once.

Edit: I found exact words of Tito :
Stop sending people to kill me. We've already captured five of them, one of them with a bomb and another with a rifle (...) If you don't stop sending killers, I'll send one to Moscow, and I won't have to send a second.
—Josip Broz Tito

Tito died of old age.

Nah, they weren't in the USSR either. Under their influence for sure, but we were an individual country.
