Was reminded of this today by someone. Thought had posted it before, oddly a search did not turn it up, so here goes:

Lemmy is a 2010 documentary film profile of British rock musician Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, leader of the band Motörhead.

Great guy, I've been listening to Motorhead for over 15 years:) Lemmy is one of the very few "outlaw" musicians still alive. However the notion I got from this movie is that he is unhappy.

BTW I strongly recommend "White fever" - his authobiography, great insight to this guy mental set up. And there's plenty of cool stories about The Beatles or Rolling Stones.

In the same 'spirit' (and with an apparition of Lemmy), imo a better documentary :

Anvil, the story of Anvil :
Quote:
Since 1978, Anvil has become one of heavy metal's most influential yet commercially unsuccessful acts. In 2006, after a fledging European tour Anvil sets out to record their thirteenth album and continue to follow their dreams.
