There’s a word for “people who are in their heads too much”: thinkers.
Our culture rightly admires risk-takers, but we need our “heed-takers” more than ever.
There is no such thing as a pure extrovert or a pure introvert. Such a man would be in the lunatic asylum.
Solitude is a catalyst for creativity and innovation.
Everyone shines, given the right lighting. For some, it’s a Broadway spotlight, for others, a lamplit desk.
Culturally we need a better balance, we need a better Yin and Yang between these two things (extraversion and introversion).

No need for bias, we should think of introverts and extroverts as two sides of the same coin. Steve Wozniak, an advocate of working alone, and the very vocal Steve Jobs complemented one another and were equally indispensable in building the world's most valuable company ever. Of course, we can always live in the best of both worlds, depending on what the circumstances dictate. This is the grey zone, the flexibility to adapt. I have not read the book. So many books, so little time.
