Beautiful! Thanks, Morpheus.

I don't think you can talk about typical INFJ music though... I mean we are all different individuals, it is not possible to put 6,97 billion people into 16 personality type boxes. I have been reading about my own personality type (INFP) the last couple of days. There are even specials forums for INFP people. It is interesting, but in my opinion some people take it way to far!

However, I really recognized myself in the descriptions that are given on the INFP type (idealist/dreamer). I was really amazed! It is like someone cracked my skull open and can explain to me how my inner self works. What makes me tick, what scares me, which things I like, etc. It might even explain why I fall in love easily and why sometimes people view me as "cute", instead of sexy...

But then again, I am not in INFP mode all day long. Sometimes I might behave more like a ENFP or a INFJ or an INTP... It is more like INFP is my "default" state.

Anyway, it might be a good idea for other people too, to find out their Myers Briggs personality type. Know thyself! ;)

I saw myself in the ENFJ description, like you in INFP. Described me almost in every way, every sentence had something.

I'm listed as an ENTJ, but the information about ENTJ didn't feel like it resonated with me. It might have been the state of mind I was in. Can someone provide me with a link for the test that is reliable?

I got ENFJ from one, ENFP from another and ESFJ from last.. ENFP is quite accurate too, but ESFJ is only like 50% or so, as far as my opinion is concerned...

I already did 8 tests: 6x INFP, 2x INFJ. So I seem to be INFP, but close to INFJ. One of the differences between INFP and INFJ is that INFJ-people tend to plan things more than INFP's. Well in fact I do plan a lot of things, but I always leave options open in my planning. Also I don't like to plan to far in advance.

Also I see more of myself in the INFP description, than in the INFJ description. So if you want to know which type fits you best, just read the descriptions very well and then decide which one is closest to you.

The above proves that it is really difficult to put people in a personality box, because we tend to be more of a mixture of personality types, depending on the situation that we are in at a given moment.

This is why the best tests give you the percentages of each type, so you can see how close you fit their definition in each area.

Yes.

I wrote down my percentages for one of the tests:

E/I = 16/84%
S/N = 40/60%
T/F = 37/63%
J/P = 47/53%

In another test I did S and N were really close, but J and P were further apart, like 30% and 70%.

Actually I did some more reading on this subject (mostly INFJ and INFP types) today. I found out some interesting things. This way I am also learning a lot about myself.

Do you guys mind if I make a post dedicated to Myers Briggs personality types? In the "Letting go, creating and self-realisation" section maybe? We could post links and interesting finds there. It would be useful for everyone that is interested in this subject.

Oh I personally don't mind and I don't think anybody would mind either.. I will do also those tests again and see those %, then post results.

So, I've come up with ENTJ, INTP, and now INTJ. I get being NTJ, but I guess I'm borderline introverted or extroverted. Here are my latest results. I'm in a hurry to get back to my school work. Geez, I lose so much time lurking this forum.

Edit: LOL, I couldn't post the results it was all html code and I didn't realize it.
