this is a classic movie which had a lot of messages in it...

Although I didn't grow up in America I admire the hippie culture that was in the 60's in America. It was not just about drugs, sex and rock music- people were trying to change some core values in America.

In the end, the hippie revolution didn't change America's core values as far as money and capitalism
(America became more capitalistic and community life didn't last in most of America...) but they did manage to make some other changes in America.

The end of the movie (which I will not say what it was) was like a prophecy to what would happen in the end to the hippie culture and their revolution.
