I texted up this girl that was in my class for some stuff I did last winter. Basically how it initially went was she was attracted then very distant due to the fact I moved too soon. I can actually see it in the old texts. (We're now 6-7months later).
Her behavior was completely different this time around. Instant responses to texts, smiley faces and exclaimation points all the time. So we talked for idk prolly 15-20 minutes and then I was like.
"No good point. I'd like to keep talking but my friend is actually here. I gotta go. Cya
"
Her: ttyl!
I actually had nothing going on. Just wanted to get off the phone (remembered that from the first phone call actually)
Part of me wants to do more. But the other part now knows I'd just be working against myself. I'll just let this one go and focus on other stuff, she'll probably get curious enough to text me in a month or two.
I'm more curious about the end part of the convo. I kinda debated between saying that and saying "No good point. I'd like to keeping but my friend is actually here. Hit me up sometime
"
In the moment my gut told me to go with the first one so I did. It leaves more space. And since I got off the phone first technically the ball is in my court no?
