Hey Kidd,

you said you don't like organized religions. I'm curious as to why?
have you ever been into one?
if not, what made you not like organized religions?

@Grinus
I already know why you don't like it (cause you told me)

other members feel free to share your thoughts about this too...I'd love to hear your thoughts.

UGH! :?

Religion is twisted by man to achieve his own ends. It's the ultimate tool for pimpin'. That's all I have to say about the matter. :geek:

I'm not against the idea of a soul or something that survives death. I had two near death experiences when I was a child. So to me at least they were real.

Religion is very obviously a social construct for and by the
Matrix. You can see this in that it's very much based on the location for example we have Christianity in the western world and say Hinduism in another location.

Its like playing with a half deck of cards. When you could be playing with a full deck....or better yet your own deck of cards.

Read them start to finish and form an opinion reading the moral atrocities claimed as holy and divine will probably disgust you. As well as claims the world is flat and held up by pillars

This :!: :D

Religion is too dogmatic and hypocritical for me besides its just like politics and women a lie! its another form of manipulation to try and control society as a whole. After discovering this for myself I became an atheist now I feel I have a lot more freedom to make my own choices and feel more in control of my life. Also I do good things because I genuinely want to feel me?! Not because I get to have an eternal afterlife in the clouds or threatened to be baptized in eternal fire for doing wrong. Religion is as real as Santa Claus traveling in a flying sleigh of 12 reindeer delivering presents to all the good boys and girls in one night. Besides have you read the Bible Sniper? Some of those stories are just too farfetched to really grasp or believe. A virgin really had conceived a child without some form of sexual act really :?: :!: :?: :!: :!: :? :|

Marinate on that Sniper :ugeek:

Actually now that I think about it there was some posts on RELM on Rions old forum about religion it was so long ago I can't remember what it was called. You should search for it you're pretty good at finding things like that they have videos about this topic definitely worth checking out.

Ooh ooh ooh I just remembered if you plan on searching there for that topic you better make a move now son! Rion is getting ready to close that thang down in order to pursue his "awakened goddess" on that new forum he made. :? 8-) :|

Forget what I said earlier I found it!! check this link out let me know your thoughts:

Kidd, did you not mention somewhere you believe in a god? Or did I misread you?

Why do you believe?(if you don`t mind me asking)

Did some experience make you feel that way? Or a matter of faith?

I was indoctrinated early...baptized, Sunday school, altar boy...all that. On top of that, I've just had too many personali experiences that just resonated with me on that level.

Whether it's God, Jesus, Allah, an alien...I don't know and it doesn't matter to me. I believe that some kind of supreme being exists and manipulates things indirectly to His whim. :ugeek:

He is also the ultimate comedian.
