I agree however you must have heard about or seen parents that treat their children bad.somtimes you hear people saying stuff like: my parents hated me.... In some extreme cases there are even violence and rape within the family. so how does all of that go with 'unconditional love' between parents and their children? |

Sniper did you know that in nature animal mothers will routinely starve weaker children off by giving all the food to the stronger baby. |

No I did not know that. But humans are above animals when it comes to this....

The only thing that seperates us from the animals is a tiny layer of brain tissue called the neo-cortex which goes around the outside of our brain. It's what gives us the ability for logical reasoning/intelligence. We share their fear, basic emotions....and selfish genes. A child bears 1/2 of the mother's genes, over time in a system those who took measures to insure more of their genes survived became predominate in the system. What gives us ability to have thoughts of higher ideals and a moral code is that we are fortunate to have enough resources and food especially....without it watch how fast those things disintegrate.
