Post subject:  religious women question to Kidd and Pergrinus

Ok I know that we have talked about this before and feel free to give me your harsh wake up call if you think I need it....

But this week I spoke to three guys who are married and are religious Christians.

They were not religious Christians all their life -

while they were not, they dated Women who were not religious Christians and after they became religious Christians they only dated religious Christians women.

Now they are married to religious Christians women.

They told me that the difference between non religious Christians women and religious Christians women are Amazing. They say that when they dated religious Christians women they already came with good values from Home while the Non religious Christians women had shit values from home and sociaty so they brought a lot of Drama with them.

So maybe getting a religious woman is going to be much easier when one wants a good relationship or a family?

(p.s: these are three guys who told me that, not just one guy)

Ok you can Pass if you want, but unless you have
dated one or observed them you don't have a solid point here.

What if I said something like: All black people are the same? or All Jewish people are the same?
Or All Mexicans are the same?

NOTE: This question was addressed to KIdd, I am answering it on the basis that Sniper directed me here and requested insight. In reading the thread, I am surprised that he passed on the question given his incredible intuitive ability.

Long live The Kidd.

All right.

From the male perspective, it is more straight forward than it appears.

What happened to the men in question was that, before converting, they were looking for happiness in their women. This increased their own expectations on the women they were dating, expectations which could not (and will never!) be met no matter how strongly one believes in them. Basically put; their relationships were being relied upon based the bond with their women.

The new relationships, after conversion, do not have this problem. Why? Because they are no longer relying on something external to validate their sense of self. They have found something far more specific. A lifestyle to live by. A virtue to follow. A way in which they wholeheartedly believe and wish to lead their lives. In this case, their religion; Christianity. They have believed in and absorbed this religion to such an extent that they are up to speed with the joy and purpose that they feel in their lives without using the women to give them meaning. This of course, is an attractive quality. As long as they maintain their strong beliefs, their relationships and future relationships will have no trouble. I must stress though, that If at any time these men switch their sense of joy from their religion to their women, they will go from being energy providers to energy suckers and subsequently the woman will make their lives a living hell. No pun intended.

I am truly not aware of any religion which is capable of doing such a thing on a long term basis. There was of course, the professional wrestler, Shawn Michaels, but he converted well after his thirties and would be more naturally grounded by now. People still close to Michaels still state that there is a bit of the old 'him' that surfaces briefly from time to time, before being locked away again. Sniper, are these men in that age group?

If you wish Sniper, I can give you the female perspective, but truly, it is not relevent.

Thank you very much Scarf, :)

these Men are above thirty but under 40.
The female perspective is intresting but if you think it's not relevent then nevermind.

You guys don't see it as relevant, but it was relevant for me.
So I'm glad Scarf took this one

Sniper, I feel you're still too invested in finding that 'One dreamgirl", when you know she doesn't exist! It's like in the movie Fracture, you're just asking the same question a bunch of different ways until you get the answer you want.

Ok I figured out what my issue is. Now I know where this is coming from, but I can't share this on the board (not yet anyway).

ManniJa I have pm you and two other guys here. If you can give me an answer via pm that would be cool 8-)

Thanks ManniJa & peregrinus for replying to my pm with a great explanation. Now everything makes sense and I can move on :)

if it's no problem to you, do you mind posting your interpretation of what was explained to you. it would be cool to read other people's views on religious women.

what I was talking about with ManniJa & peregrinus via pm was not about religious women, it was about my parents and it's private so I can't share it.

But in regards to religious women: I think Scarf's post sums it up well enough :)

This is old, but whatever.

Scarf, that was a great explanation!

My thoughts on why both The Kidd!! and peregrinus passed - because the religious aspect does not matter.

If you follow the principles here, and a religious chick chooses you / is highly attracted to you, yet you are not religious (for sake of making point) - IT WILL NOT MATTER.

Now, down the road, I could see her trying to convert you. This could go one of two ways. (see: Finish how you start)
