AUTOBIOGRAPHY IN FIVE CHAPTERS
Portia Nelson

[ img ]

1) I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in.
I am lost...
I am hopeless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

2) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I'm in the same place.
But it isn't my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

3) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in...it's a habit
My eyes are open; I know where I am;
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

4) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

5) I walk down another street.

Ultimately no, but its good to be able to change the illusion before you see you have power over it.

You then have choice you can change it..or realize it has no power over you and allow it to be.

These negative thoughts and emotions are like a T.V...sure its there but you need to plug in the power for it to do anything. :geek:

These negative thoughts and positives too and emotions are like a T.V...sure its there but you need to plug in the power for it to do anything. :geek:
Disconnect the fucking TV then, better yet do not pay attention to the -Electrical provider who endorses you to pay the bill. Assume consecuences.

Yeah it's very fun to watch the TV... Very entertaining. But it gets boring over time.

I guess living alone in the forests would be more entertaining and revealing, ala Henry David Thoreau.
