Ok, so someone directed me to this thread where guys were speaking about Cory Skyy's brilliant affirmations and so on.

I'm here to ask you guys an interesting question. Do affirmations work if you are not what you affirm to be? I mean... aren't the guys that affirm to themselves that they're good looking actually good looking? I mean... Cory Skyy is good looking and so is Brent... him affirming to himself that he's good looking is something normal. But what if some ugly guy affirms that? Would it do something for him? If you're a fatass (don't mean to offend anyone)...isn't it smarter to lose weight than to try to convince yourself you're hot?

What changes in your life do you attribute solely to affirmations? (don't ignore my other questions though)

Did you get to a success level that's very close to Cory Skyy's after doing affirmations and nothing else?

I personally believe affirmations give you a confidence bonus and that's all. It's still not a magic pill and girls will still reject you... you'll get less rejections but you'll get them...

I'll just copy and paste my other reply:
Quote:
if you don't like your looks change what you can....
Let's say for example that someone thinks his face is not good looking enough.

he can still work on his body, change hair style wear nice clothing, work on his social skills and more....

why do we see guys that are not good looking with great looking women?
of course affirmations are not enough you have to work on changing the things you can change....
Edit:
also read this post I made a while ago:
