I've got 3 weeks or so until I meet up with this girl, who I've met once before about 6 weeks ago. In the meantime, she's emailing alot, the large majority of which I just don't feel like replying to. That's not to say I don't find her interesting, but it's quite familiar stuff. We had an e-chat the other day, which was actually pretty fun. We're gonna fuck, essentially. The vibe is really cool, open and fun. However, she's applying the pressure to communicate. I know, it's amazing that she wants an actual conversation - but I'm not particularly interested in talking for hours on the phone(we're long distance). Anything I want to find out about her I'd rather do when we meet. Just not my thing, and I prefer face to face. Infact, I actually really dislike phone conversations and I think it's pretty much a rule of mine to not do them. What are your thoughts on this? I want to keep the bait floating in the water, but not let the fish go entirely. |

Ha, great find ahk. That does sum it up. What I feel like doing is not even communicating with her until we see eachother. What my gut tells me is that I should afford her a little investment and, tactically speaking, it's something that needs to be done. It sure is hard to keep them at bay once they're interested  Interestingly, when I live in the same city as them this isn't even a question I need to ask. |
