Great book. Just got done reading it. The way I see things after reading this book is guys can act like 3 things. A "nice guy"(afraid of sex and their own masculine core), the asshole(who doesn't embrace the feminine and lives with a closed off heart), or the masculine man(appreciates the beauty of women, but doesn't tolerate shit).

After my recent shift in my views about women I kind of developed a view that it was "me vs them". It was a way to put myself above women so I could feel better about myself and it was another way to mask my fear of rejection. Living with an open heart isn't about loving everyone, its about being open to everything that life throws at you and learning to be non-reactive to it.

I used to be into a lot of spirituality stuff and most of it neglected the aspect of polarity. Men are very different from women, but it is this difference that sparks sexual polarity. A masculine man will be more attracted to a woman that is feminine. Deida really helps bridge the gap between spirituality and being a masculine man. Most importantly it shows that fucking a girl silly IS the greatest love you could give her from your masculine core.

Bravo, with that realization you can throw aside all the stupid bullshit advice anyone else gives you concerning this matter, myself included.(Except for that^ piece of advice)

Haha, the truth is always so simple but we overlook it and complicate shit. I'm done playing those little games with women, if she doesn't want to be straightforward then she's not worth the time of day. I'd rather have a real authentic girl than an insecure one who constantly is playing manipulative games to get me to chase them. Lame.

freespirit422 and TML,

I wanted to read his book for some time now and maybe I will, but doesn't he have a chapter over there - someting like: 'Live As If Your Father Were Dead'

I know I should not judge the book by this chapter but what's that all about?
sounds a bit creepy to me :|

Ah, thats a very good chapter. It sounds very creepy at first but it has very good value. Some guys growing up seek their father's approval. What happens is they start living their life for their father and not themselves. The result is they are not happy and fulfilled because they are fulfilling another person's dreams.

I'll give you an example. Lets say a guy growing up really loved to paint. He has a natural talent for it and creates beautiful works of art. However, the father would rather have him become a pro football player. Now if the guy pursues his father's dream he is being very inauthentic and living a life that is not HIS life purpose. It's about living your life for yourself and not trying to gain approval from others.

It is a very good book. It brought me back from the depths of the "dark side". I have regained my compassion for women, but I've also learned to be a man and stand up for myself when I need to. I'm sure you would get a lot of value from it.

I´ve also read the book, it crystallizes everything ever coming
to my awareness just by doing NaturalGrounding. (Yes, I receive
insights from doing that)

It is also the reason why I do NG. Woman´s NaturalCharacter
is amazing and fascinating to me. I value it.

On the Inner Characteristics, I value a good story telling.
A woman who is a great story teller is never boring.
(someone who has had her own adventures that is.)

add; All the Natural Men who I know, intuitively do a stage
of NG, they listen to (light) music sung by women.

Yes, women offer a special energy. That point is made several different times in that book.

Shay, live as if your father were dead is actually a good chapter. They say that a guy is forced to become a man when his father dies. I don't think it's so much the pysical aspect of this as it is the idea of carrying around his values with you, I know I had to grow up alot when my dad died many years ago.

This Deida´s book has real value because it doesn´t create new "need" as you go.
It echoes the real thing, the value you already are looking for as a man,
(not like creating a new "need" to respond to on a marketing page of a
product. That is like a dog chasing its tail.)

Know what you want and not what other people want for you.

So true, its one of those books you might find too early and not actually absorb the message till later in your growth
