Hey everyone...
I actually have no idea how I originally found this forum (been lurkin' for months), but it was probably via searching about The Black Philip Show or Iceberg Slim's book - two things which really resonated with me even though I didn't even slightly understand the philosophy/mindset behind them. I was looking but not seeing.
For a while, I engaged in the mental masturbation of reading these forums (and other material) without really doing the work - which is a gigantic waste of time after you get the fundamentals. I had already been doing things like building my own business, international travel/living, working out, etc. to improve myself on one level. But that was it.
Much more recently, though, I finally pulled my head out of my own ass and started to close the laptop and get to the real work that's explained on these boards. That means:
A) Working on my observation skills (around town) and...
B) Diving into problems that I didn't even know I had (self-observation followed by "push-ups")
I'm inally taking real steps down the prescribed path and seeing some interesting things... both inside and out (not that there's a difference, aka. the mirror
) and figured it was time to introduce myself.Looking forward to sharing some experiences and bouncing ideas with you guys soon
